šŸ• The 1–2 Minute Rule: Why it's OK to Take a Short Break Between Meetings.

ree

Let me guess—your calendar looks like this:

 🟢 Zoom call at 9:00

 🟢 Zoom call at 10:00

 🟢 Zoom call at 11:00

Ā No break. No breathing. Just go-go-go. šŸ˜…

That used to be me too.

I thought I had to jump from one call to the next like I was on a Formula 1 pit crew. šŸŽļøšŸ’Ø

But here’s the truth:

  • Ā Your brain needs time to catch up.

  • Ā You are not a robot.

  • Ā You are a real human, and humans need 1–2 minutes to pause.

Here’s what I do now between meetings:

 🧘 I breathe—slowly, 3 times.

Ā šŸ‘€ I look out the window or just relax my eyes.

Ā ā˜• I drink some water or tea.

Ā šŸ¤” I let my brain reset before the next meeting.

That’s it.

Just 1–2 minutes, and I feel better. I speak better. I make better decisions. Even my team notices the difference.

Why this works:

  1. Ā In sports, athletes rest between matches.

  2. Ā In music, singers rest their voices.

  3. Ā In business, your mind needs the same care.

✨ So give yourself permission to pause.
